Water contamination with heavy metals is increased due to environmental contaminants. Arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead are well-known toxic for humans. Lactobacillus acidophilus an ideal absorbent the removal of from drinking water. In this study, ability treated untreated L. ATCC 4356 remove four metals, simultaneously, multi-metallic contaminated water in 24 h was investigated. addition, stability bacteria–metal complexes evaluated simulated gastrointestinal tract conditions.
